The City of Bellevue, Idaho is devoted to providing inclusive and accessible services to all who live, work, and play in the city. To guarantee that everyone can take part in the city's activities, Bellevue has created a universal design brochure with best practices for anyone organizing events, training, or meetings. This brochure helps to create an atmosphere that is inviting to all individuals. The City Manager's Office also oversees the Diversity Advantage Initiative team, which includes an ADA Title VI administrator.
This team works to promote equity, access, inclusion, opportunity, and cultural competence in municipal policies, staffing and recruitment, training, communications, services, and outreach. These initiatives are intended to improve human services, public safety, education, economic development, and civic participation for the entire community. Bellevue is dedicated to understanding and practicing equity in access, inclusion, opportunities and cultural competence.
